Tour 360 Launch

Adidas tee’d off a new chapter in its classic Tour 360 golf shoe with a global launch event. A live reveal for press hosted by Olympic Gold Medalist Xander Schauffele on a mixed reality stage and breakout rooms for interviews with the team leads and shoe designers.

Live Event with an 
XR Stage

Due to global travel restrictions, the challenge was to showcase the shoe in a way without the ability to feel the shoe in person. The answer was to create an online live event platform, with live mixed reality content using Unreal, breakout rooms for press interviews, and an AR shoe exploration in 8thWall.

AR Event Extension

Users explored features of the shoe by rotating, flipping, and breaking it apart in a seamless AR experience that highlighted the intricate details even without the ability to hold it in your hands.

Global Launch Event Impact

The live event aired live globally across NA, APAC, EMEA markets as the first look at the iconic new shoe. Press were able to conduct interviews in breakout rooms with the team leads and shoe designers. The event lead to over 232 stories and 1.5B impressions globally.
